an end-to-end automation pipeline for a real workflow
Your training passport
Every domain runs the same three-stage structure. Here's what each stage looks like for Automation.
Map and script a workflow
Weeks 1-2. You pick a real workflow (your own, a partner's, anything that runs more than once a week). You map it, identify the failure modes, and script the happy path. Mentor reviews for over-engineering.
1–2
Make it reliable
Weeks 3-4. Error handling, retries, alerting, logging. You learn the difference between automation that works on your laptop and automation that works at 3am with no human in the loop.
3–4
Ship to production with monitoring
Months 2-3. Deployed on a schedule or webhook, with a dashboard showing success/failure rates. You write a runbook so someone else can debug it without paging you.
2–3
- Workflow analysis & mapping
- Scripting & RPA basics
- Scheduling & event-driven triggers
- Error handling & alerting
- Integration with third-party APIs
- Monitoring & observability
